Scheme Details - Electronic Security Systems
Electronic Security Systems Certification covers the following areas:
- Intruder Alarms – domestic and commercial
- CCTV Systems – surveillance and remotely monitored detector activated
- Detector Activated CCTV Systems
- Access Control Systems
This scheme is suitable for organisations designing, installing and maintaining security systems, i.e. intruder alarm systems, detector operated CCTV systems, conventional CCTV systems and/or access control systems.
Alarm Receiving Centres; Remote Video Response Centres and CCTV Management and Operation are including in the Monitoring Scheme.
Electronic Security Systems Certification will demonstrate compliance with ACPO(s) unified policies on Police response to security systems alarms. It will enable certificated companies to obtain a Unique Reference Number (URN) and therefore a Police response to alarms. Conditions generated by the security systems.
