This scheme is suitable for organisations designing, installing and maintaining security systems, i.e. intruder alarm systems, detector operated CCTV systems, conventional CCTV systems and/or access control systems.
Alarm Receiving Centres; Remote Video Response Centres and also CCTV Management and Operation Centres are included in the Monitoring Scheme.
Electronic Security Systems Certification will demonstrate compliance with ACPO(s) unified policies on Police Response to Security Systems. It will enable certificated companies to obtain a Unique Reference Number (URN) and therefore a Police response to Security Systems. Conditions generated by the security systems.
